General Purpose Classroom Reservation Request Form

The Registrar's Office is currently accepting general purpose classroom reservation requests for theFall 2026 term only. Requests for Spring 2027 will not open until December 14, 2026. Due to course scheduling timelines and the resulting impact to room availability, we are unable to review or process requests for future terms.

Requestors must allow a minimum of 3-5 business days for processing. Additional processing time will be required during peak times such as the start/end of terms, registration periods, and add/drop weeks.

The Registrar's Office only reserves space in specific general purpose classrooms and a select group of general purpose computer labs. We do not book reservations in conference rooms, labs, the Robinson Theater (Building 14A), Robinson Buildings (14B, 14E), Fine Arts Center (Building 45), Student Union, UNF Arena, Herbert University Center, Osprey Commons, Osprey Clubhouse, Student Wellness Complex, Field House, Coggin College of Business (Building 42), Hicks Hall (Building 53), Petway Hall/College of Education (Building 57), or any outdoor spaces (e.g. The Green, Amphitheater, etc.).

Only the following individuals are permitted to request general-purpose classroom space:

Active UNF students on behalf of an approved student group, Fraternities, or Sororities (must be in Good Standing)
Current UNF Faculty
Current UNF Staff

NOTICE: All Requestors

Revenue generating events may not be held in General Purpose classrooms. This includes but is not limited to fundraising, ticket fees, entry fees, collecting donations, fees for refreshments, etc.
Classroom space is not available for use between midnight and 7:00am due to the Physical Facilities classroom cleaning schedule.
The Registrar's Office does not have access to classroom space. If you are unable to access your reserved room, please contact the University Police Department non-emergency telephone number at (904) 620-2800.
Classroom space is reserve as is. Additional technology and/or furniture must be secured by the requestor.
For faculty and staff, technology questions and/or concerns should be directed to the ITS Help Desk at (904) 620-4357. Students who do not have a sponsor present during the reservation will not be granted technology support. Students may, at their own risk, bring a laptop to plug into the HDMI cable to gain access to the projector.
Classrooms must be left in the same condition as when you arrived. If any furniture is moved or trash is generated, please clean up and arrange the room before you leave. If you plan to have food, working on a project, or having an event that may generate extra trash and think you may need additional trash cans, you must submit a work order to PFwork@unf.edu and include: date/time of this event, building & room number, # of extra bags needed, and a service request reason of “extra trash cans with bags”. At the end of your event, you must take the trash bags to the tilts located outside of the buildings or double bag and place the trash outside of the door in the hallways.

Student groups (RSOs) must be in Good Standing with the Osprey Involvement Center (OIC).
Fraternities and Sororities must be in Good Standing with the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (OFSL).
Only approved requesters may submit requests on behalf of the organization: president or executive board members.
Student groups, Fraternities, and Sororities are not permitted to use classroom space prior to 9:00pm, Mondays-Thursdays and prior to 5:00pm on Fridays. Saturdays and Sundays have open availability.
Student groups, Fraternities, and Sororities are not permitted to reserve any computer labs, classrooms in building 4, or classrooms in building 59.
Student groups (RSOs) must list their UNF faculty or staff sponsor on the reservation request.
Fraternities and Sororities (OFSL) must list the OFSL Director as sponsor on the reservation request.

Violation/Penalties of Terms and Conditions:

Violations of the classroom reservation Terms and Conditions will be subject to a formal, written warning that will also be sent to the listed Sponsor. Additional violations will result in a group or chapter's loss of reservation privileges for either a term, or an entire academic year.
Violations concerning alcohol will result in immediate loss of classroom reservation privileges for the academic year and may also be referred to additional offices such as Student Conduct.
If a reserved room is left in a condition that requires extra custodial efforts, the group or chapter may be billed for labor required to return the room to a usable, academic setup.
